Fortava Healthcare Care Homes, Nottingham & Long Eaton
Three purpose-built care homes across Nottingham and Long Eaton, providing exceptional residential, nursing and dementia care. As specialists in dementia, we enhance lives and set new standards in compassionate care.
We serve families in Nottingham, Stapleford, Long Eaton, Beeston, West Bridgford and the surrounding areas, and we welcome residents from further afield too.
Visits welcome any day. Care assessments available at short notice, including hospital discharge.
Care built around the person, not the condition
Fortava Healthcare was founded on a simple belief: good care begins with genuinely understanding the person in front of you. Our mission is to create homes where people thrive rather than simply being cared for, whether they need a little help with daily life, round-the-clock nursing, or specialist support with dementia.
Wilford View, Stapleford View and Long Eaton View provide residential, nursing, respite, convalescent and palliative care alongside the specialist dementia care we're best known for, with nursing care registered at Wilford View and Stapleford View. Long Eaton View sits canal-side on the Erewash, a short drive from Nottingham and Beeston. Where a home is registered for both residential and nursing care, support can adapt as needs change without a move.
We train our teams to look past a diagnosis to the person. Distress is investigated rather than managed, preferences are recorded and respected, and family are treated as partners in care rather than visitors to it.

Not sure which home is right?
Most families aren't, until they've visited. Tell us about your situation and we'll tell you honestly which of the three fits best, including if the answer is none of them.
The care we provide
Here are the types of care we provide across our three homes, what each one involves, and which homes are registered to deliver it.
Residential Care
Support with daily living, including washing, dressing, medication and meals, delivered in safe and comfortable surroundings that promote the physical, psychological and emotional wellbeing of every resident.
For those who need help with daily life but not nursing care.

Dementia Care
Safe, secure and stimulating environments form the foundation of our dementia care. Dedicated dementia suites provide comfort, companionship and security, with teams trained to understand behaviour rather than simply manage it and Cognitive Stimulation Therapy built into everyday life.

The DR BOB values
Five values that shape every decision we make, from clinical care and recruitment to leadership culture and how we talk to families.
Dignity
Every person we care for built a career, raised a family, knew love and loss. We protect that identity at every stage.
Respect
Behaviour is communication. We work to understand the need behind it rather than manage the symptom.
Best We Can Be
Evidence-based practice, measured outcomes, and
training that goes well beyond generic e-learning.
Open, Honest & Fair
We don't market a fantasy version of ageing. If we're not the right home, we'll tell you.
Believe In Your Ability
In residents and in our teams. Seven internal promotions in our first seven months.
What families tell us
Independently submitted reviews from families across all three homes. What they describe most often isn't satisfaction. It's relief.
Arranging care with Fortava
Four straightforward steps, at your pace.
Get in touch
Send the form or call the home directly. A member of our team will be in touch, and we aim to respond within two working hours.
Come and look round
Visit any home, any day. Stay for lunch. Bring your mum. Bring the relative who has doubts, and ask the staff anything you like.
Care assessment
If it feels right, we'll carry out a full assessment, cognitive and emotional as well as clinical, and build a personalised care plan with you. Short-notice assessments are available.
Move in and settle
Choose a date that suits you and bring the things that make a room feel like theirs. Nothing is signed until you're completely happy.
